The Museum of Atomic Energy presents the history of nuclear power and the Paks Nuclear Power Plant in a unique way in Europe. The 2000 m2 exhibition space provides space for equipment, scientist relics and temporary exhibitions used during the operation of the nuclear power plant.

Table reservation

The 2000-square-meter exhibition space of the Atomic Energy Museum, unique in Europe as a national museum since 2010, provides visitors with a close-up view of the equipment at the nuclear power plant, and how to work with a jet or screwdriver. The exhibition space is divided into 4 thematic units. On the left you can see the souvenirs, decorations and instruments related to the history of the power plant grouped by discipline. The right side is the area for large equipment. In a separate room you can see the service tools and the simulation computer. The gallery exhibits relics of six institutions belonging to the national collection of the museum.

Opening hours : Monday to Friday 8.00-15.00, Saturday 9.00-13.00
