The Information and Visitor Center of the Nuclear Power Plant opened its doors in 1995, and it is possible to enter it without a prior appointment, halfway between Budapest and Pécs. The interactive, human - and nature - centered exhibit here places nuclear energy in the realm of everyday life with easy - to - understand, playful panels, diagrams and mock - ups. Those who are eager for more excitement and who have reached the age of 16 are welcome to visit the nuclear power plant site. Visitors are guided through a pre-defined route, led by a group guide. Visitors can take a look at the block control room and reactor hall, and after taking personal protective equipment, take a short walk around one of the turbine generators in the turbine hall.

Opening hours : Monday to Friday 8.00-15.00,  Saturday 9.00-13.00
